State of the art 58 bed nursing home including a special / dedicated Alzheimer / Dementia wing all with ensuite private bed rooms. Our Aim is to provide the highest quality of care for all those that require our services and ensure that they are delivered to the highest standard by professional and committed staff. The purpose of Abbot Close is to bring well-being, sanctuary and rest to the mind, body and spirit of all those who need our care. Location
Abbot Close is ideally located in Askeaton on an elevated site enjoying good countryside views and close to all amenities. Askeaton is one of Ireland’s oldest towns steeped in history and tradition. Situated on the banks of the river Deel, it lies about two miles upstream of the Shannon Estuary. It still retains many features of its history with many interesting buildings including the Knights Templar Tower built in 1298, Franciscan Friary 1389 and its famous bridge which dates back to the 15th Century.
